    1. Big, clear pictures, great for storytime in front of a crowd or bedtime at home. The images of babies will fascinate little ones and the simplicity of the illustrations make it that much easier for them to absorb. An added bonus is the rhyming text, which is great for supporting early literacy. The book contains a diverse cast of characters, including male caregivers interacting with their babies. Overall, a great book for young babies.

    2. Say Goodnight was a short book about babies having fun, thus in the end are tired and goes to sleep.I noticed the illustrations in this book, showed the different races in each baby. (e.g. Asian, Caucasian etc.) The pictures were big and it did not show much of adults, but was more focused on the babies and their actions. The illustrator and author doing that, means to me that babies use a lot of energy and have a lot of energy, which then puts them to sleep. The genre was definitely realistic f [...]

    3. A cast of multiracial babies fall into bed for a good sleep after a day of playing. This sweet board book showcases babies swinging and getting horseback rides from grown ups, along with a very few words per page. This book won't be a thrill for grown ups, but babies will enjoy it over and over. Oxenbury has written several books about snuggly babies and their days, all in the large board book format.     4. This is one of the shortest picture books I have ever read to Lu, but even in its conciseness, it is a lovely book in which to end a day. I always appreciate Oxenbury's lovely illustrations filled with babies of different races. A baby story time read.

    5. Never read these to my kids as babies even though they are highly acclaimed. I always wanted something longer.

    6. I love that Oxenbury's babies have all different skin colors, and I love the rhyme in this book.Better yet, so does Velociraptor.
