Now this I like (even if the concept of Christmas stockings doesn’t particularly excite me). The Gift Experience will personalise a Christmas stocking for your child (or an adult if you so choose) for just £5.99. You just type the name on the order form online.

Comet has become one of the first retailers to pass the recent VAT cut onto its customers. It is doing this both online and in-store. Although the Chancellor, Alistair Darling, had urged all retailers to pass on the cut, it is very likely that customers will notice little difference this Christmas.
