The Wii Fit is literally flying off the shelves.  And it’s flying off the virtual shelves too.  Latest statistics show that 16% of all searches this Christmas have been for the Wii Fit.  As we have already said it’s been in short supply in the latter half of 2008, but fortunately the supply has been pretty this festive season.

As a result, this has forced the prices down rather than up as we saw in recent years with the Playstation 2, Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii itself last Christmas.

Have you ever thought about someone buying a totally outrageous present for Christmas?  Well, you’re probably not alone because there is definitely a market out there for this kind of gift.  Otherwise, leading gadget store Iwantoneofthose.com wouldn’t have a section on their website totally dedicated to the outrageous and unusal gift buyer.
